The AI Marketing Automation Playbook cover

You don't need more AI tools. You need to know which work to hand over.

Every tool page promises hours saved. Then a workflow breaks quietly, a draft promises something nobody approved, or a WhatsApp rule you never heard of catches you out. This guide starts with a stopwatch, not a subscription. You find the tasks worth automating, build them so that a person stays in charge, and count what you really keep. Sometimes the honest answer is to leave a task alone, and you'll know why.

What you'll be able to do

  • Score your own tasks for size, fit and risk, and pick one worth starting with
  • Get usable work from AI, with a seven-part brief and real examples
  • Build a brand voice guide that AI can really follow
  • Read three different pricing meters, and estimate your month before you pay
  • Follow up leads on WhatsApp within Meta's current rules, using the rates that took effect in October 2026
  • Set AI accounts so that client data doesn't train a model by default
  • Protect workflows from text that tries to steer your AI
  • Work out net hours and payback from your own measured numbers

Who it's for

  • Small marketing teams. You repeat the same work every week, and want it to run without anyone worrying about what goes out.
  • Freelancers and consultants. You want to deliver more without adding risk to your clients' data or brand.
  • Founders. You're tired of hype, and want to know what's worth automating in your own business.

Who it's not for

  • Readers who want click-by-click tutorials for one tool. The vendors' free courses do that well, and we point you to them.
  • Developers building custom AI applications. This is a no-code guide.

Why it's worth paying for

WhatsApp and consent rules for India

What you may send, when, in which category and at what rate, checked on Meta's pages, with DPDP points flagged for your lawyer.

Hours you measure, not hours we claim

We print no hours-saved figure, because we found no reliable one for marketers. You get a baseline method, a net-hours calculator and a stress test.

Blueprints that aren't tied to one tool

Ten workflows, with the same ideas in Zapier, Make and n8n words, and a usage estimator for all three. They are designs for you to test, not finished builds.

A check before anything goes live

A 30-point checklist with a clear go or no-go, a test set and a review log, with a written rule for when checks can reduce.

Questions

How many hours will this save me?

That depends on your work and how much checking it needs. The guide has you time each task first, so you can measure the hours you really keep after checking and fixing.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The guide uses no-code tools. Some setups, such as self-hosting n8n, need more technical comfort, and the guide says where.

Which tools do I need to pay for?

To start, none beyond an AI account. The first parts work with free plans and a spreadsheet. Live workflows usually need a paid plan, and the usage estimator shows which one before you buy. Most automation tools bill in US dollars or euros.

Do the blueprints work straight away?

They are designs written from vendors' documentation, and we haven't run them in live accounts. Test each one with dummy data, as the guide shows, before any customer sees it.

Is the WhatsApp section legal advice?

No. It explains Meta's published rules and flags points for your lawyer. India's data protection rules are still being phased in, so confirm anything that matters with a qualified adviser.

Is this up to date?

Tool plans, prices and rules were checked on vendors' own pages on 31 October and 1 November 2026. The sources chapter lists them, along with what we couldn't verify. These change often, so trust the live page if it differs. Corrections and new editions appear in your library.

Do the spreadsheets work in Google Sheets?

Yes. All formulas use functions available in both Excel and Google Sheets.

Are the examples realistic?

Yes. They follow a studio, a D2C brand and a creator as they time their own tasks, automate the ones worth it, and keep a person checking before anything reaches a customer. Studio Aangan, Lohar Kitchen and Riya are illustrative, and so are their numbers, so use your own figures, not theirs. Figures quoted from studies are real, and are labelled with their limits.

How will I get it?

After payment, the product appears in your library. Download the guide and tools at any time, and return for updated editions.
