The AI Agents for Marketers Playbook

Design, test and run useful agents with tools you already have, without writing code.

An honest guide for Indian marketers and agencies who are curious about AI agents and wary of the hype. It starts by showing when you don't need one. Then it gives you seven working blueprints, a way to test them, and a calculator for what they really cost to run. A person stays in charge of anything that touches an ad account, a customer or money.

One-time payment. Instant access, and future editions included.

The AI Agents for Marketers Playbook cover

Most marketing work doesn't need an agent. The useful part is knowing which work does.

The word "agent" now covers everything from a saved prompt to software that acts on its own. Tutorials go stale in weeks, and products vanish. Costs are hard to compare, and few guides mention what happens when an agent gets it wrong. This playbook starts with an honest test, teaches patterns that outlast any one tool, and keeps a person in charge.

What you'll be able to do

  • Tell a chatbot, an automation and an agent apart, and spot agent washing
  • Run a five-question test that often ends in "you don't need one"
  • Write an agent spec covering goal, tools, memory, guardrails and human approval
  • Build in tools you already pay for, using five patterns that outlast any product
  • Copy seven blueprints, each with a route that needs no connections
  • Score an agent on your own past jobs, including traps it must survive
  • Work out what one run really costs in rupees, using editable prices
  • Spot prompt injection risks, and keep client data on the right plan

Who it's for

  • In-house marketers. You run reports, audits and content, and want to know which of it an agent can really help with.
  • Agencies and freelancers. You handle client accounts, and need access rules, approvals and honest answers for clients.
  • Founders. You keep being sold "AI agents", and want to judge what they do and what they'd cost.

Who it's not for

  • Anyone looking for an agent that runs marketing by itself, replaces a team, or makes passive income.
  • Developers who want to code agents with an SDK. This is a no-code guide, and you build your own agents: it isn't hosted software.

Why it's worth paying for

Starts with when not to build

The Need Test comes first. In the worked example, only two of twelve tasks become agents.

Blueprints with approval points and tests

Each one has goal, inputs, steps, tools, human approval points, output format, a test plan with traps, and likely failure modes.

Running costs you can edit

A calculator with labelled example prices, your exchange rate and your review time. It usually shows that review, not tokens, is the biggest line.

Patterns first, products dated

Written from vendor pages on 1 November 2026, when several no-code builders were closing. Every product claim carries that date.

Written for Indian marketers

Rupees, COD and RTO, Hinglish, plus pointers on DPDP, the IT Rules and ASCI, flagged for professional review.

Questions

Will an agent save me time?

Maybe. It depends on your work and how long review takes. The guide shows you how to measure it, and sometimes the answer is that an agent isn't worth it.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything uses no-code tools. Some connectors need technical setup, and the guide says which.

Which tools do I need?

You can start with a free or low-cost assistant plan. The guide is vendor-neutral, and shows the same patterns across several tools. Plans and prices are dated, so check them on the vendor's page.

Can an agent run my ads for me?

Not in this guide. No agent here acts on an ad account, sends a message or spends money without a person approving.

Are the examples realistic?

Yes. They're built around everyday marketing jobs, and show where an agent helps, where it goes wrong, and where a person has to approve its work. Lohar Kitchen, Studio Aangan, Riya and Vikram are illustrative, and so are their numbers, so use your own figures, not theirs. Prices in the calculator are labelled example values.

Will this stay up to date?

This field moves fast. Facts were checked on 1 November 2026, and several products were due to change soon after. We correct errors and publish updated editions in your library.

Is this legal advice?

No. Notes on data protection, advertising and tax are pointers for your lawyer or CA.

How will I get it?

After payment, the product appears in your library. Download it at any time, and come back for updated editions.
